Michelle L. Judd
Writer. Creator. Teacher. Leader.
If you need help communicating your organization’s value, providing useful content for your audience, or learning to be a better marketer, let’s talk about what I can do for you.
Currently open to freelance projects in the areas of content creation, design, and marketing for your organization and teaching assignments in higher education.
Fresh out of Michigan State University’s highly regarded College of Comm Arts with an Advertising degree, I became a publisher with a residential construction trade magazine where I wrote feature articles, directed photoshoots, and created print advertisements.
Over the last 25 years, I have built a successful career as a marketer and manager in the hospitality and retail industries including a large charter boat operation, a casual-fine dining restaurant, and Michigan’s largest antiques mall.
My passion is teaching and sharing what I have learned through my blog, Medium, social media, and in the classroom. I am a faculty member at Saginaw Valley State University, where I earned my MBA, and at Northwood University. I regularly teach courses in marketing, advertising strategy, management and family business. I am a curious, lifelong learner who loves to master new subjects.
I also manage marketing for non-profit organizations and have planned, chaired and marketed many successful fundraising events.
