What would you say if I asked you if you had the best year of your life?
The practice of daily gratitude has made me calmer, happier, and more resilient this year. I include gratitude in my daily journal. I have thanked God for gifts in my life. But I have not personally thanked humans for their kindness to me and my family in a tangible and meaningful way nearly enough. So, instead of Christmas cards, I am going to send thank you cards.
How much time do you spend trying to get control over what happens in your life? Uncertainty can even be exciting if we view it as an opportunity.
Have you started something new and felt really good about keeping it going for days, weeks, or months only to hit a roadblock? Yeah, me too, all the time. But I am getting better a picking myself up, and you can, too.
